Welcome to Carlton Tree Farms

Carlton Tree Farms is a wholesale nursery which originated as a 100 acre family farm in Carroll County, Ohio, where Earl Carlton planted the first evergreen seedlings in 1952 with the intention of growing Christmas trees. His sons Bruce, Rick and Ron have since joined the business and helped build it into the success it is today.

The business has evolved into a 1600 acre farm with 800 acres specializing in field grown evergreens. These trees are sold as B & B plants to landscapers, garden centers and rewholesalers in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, and Iowa. Some trees even find their way to Texas and Colorado! Our clay loam soil makes for excellent transplanting and the trees are dug just prior to shipping each order.
